Lana LosAngeles is an activist, artist and entrepreneur born and bred in Los Angeles, California. Her artistic mediums include painting, poetry and spoken word, acting, directing, dancing and design; all of which she uses to push forth messages of empowerment, creativity, diversity and community connection. As a native to Los Angeles, Lana derives much of her inspiration from the streets and people of LA, often utilizing mixed media materials from in and around the city along with paint and poetry to depict an urban narrative through her work.
All of Lana’s artistic works are used for the betterment of her city as a percentage of the proceeds from any art booked or sold contributes to her activism work in urban communities of LA. Currently, Lana is working on her first full length book of poetry, expanding her jewelry collection Linx & Lox, her first solo art exhibit and working with her organization GreedIsDeadlyLA to create and distribute hygiene kits for the people living on the streets of Skid Row. The proceeds from her current work are contributing to the GreedIsDeadlyLA cause.
